GAME 42: I'M BATMAN!

Batman The Dark Knight is the 42nd game to be supported by the ColorDMD pinball display platform! Batman is the 11th release by ColorDMD Displays so far in 2016, and an amazing third back-to-back release for veteran developer Eric Priepke!



This is Eric's fifth title overall, following colorization of The Flintstones, Iron Man, Spider-Man (Original) and Spider-Man VE.  Batman rounds out ColorDMD's hero library with a vibrant mix of full-motion video and hand drawn animation. Eric's work on Batman looks great and we're excited to share the results of his effort!
Eric resides in Wisconsin with his wife and two children and is a highly prolific contributor to the pinball community.  In addition to his work with ColorDMD, Eric is the author of Cactus Canyon Continued, an independent rewrite and extension of the orginal game, which he continues to support.  He competes in the Chicago Pinball Mafia pinball league, and is an active member of the Pinside and P-ROC pinball discussion forums.
The ColorDMD for Batman pinball machines shares the same easy-to-install hardware platform as previous ColorDMD releases. All displays ship with the factory installed SIGMA ROM that supports WPC, WPC95, SAM, and Whitestar platforms.  Multicolor operation is enabled through download and installation of a game-specific color ROM file, available from our site.  ROMs can be changed at any time, allowing use with any of our supported titles.  All ROMs support six different rendering styles including high-resolution upscaling.
Displays are shipping now from our store site or through our distributors.  The color ROM for Batman pinball machines is targeted for release by Friday, July 8!
