Hey guys, this dude has taken Track IR tech and applied it to his own code to make a full screen LCD use it. Only FuturePinball tables support this type of tracking at the moment, but as you can see, the 3D is pretty convincing and you don't have to use special glasses, just put on a baseball cap with the metal sensor installed on and move your noggin! When this is available and working 100% with cabinets, I will be getting a virtua PIN going! Check out Scared Stiff below, so cool!

Wow the 3D on that looks incredible!

I am 2/3 done my mini pin cab running visual pinball, just waiting for the scratch to buy the computer to run it. While the graphics are pretty awesome on visual pinball it takes a freakin' super computer to run properly. The dual processor pc I bought with 4 gb of ram & 1gb video just seizes when I try it.

While visual pinball doesn't replace the real thing I like to use it to test out games prior to making a decision to buy the real table.

Hey now, visual pinball requires less computer power than future pinball. I would definately spend the extra $$$ on a used Nvidia card (minimum GeForce GTX 660) to beef up your performance. Going through the effort of buidling your own cab, don't cheap out on the computer! You can usually pickup a nice fast used computer on Kijiji that you can just drop in your cab.

The makers of virtuapin have these specs on their cabs:

• Intel Core i5 3.1GHz Quad-Core Desktop Processor
• Western Digital 500GB 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
• 4GB CORSAIR Vengeance DDR3 1600 Desktop Memory
• EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2662-KR GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Video Card
• MSI Nvidia® 8400GS powering the backglass and DMD (if applicable)
• 600W Power Supply Unit
