Help with some parts Empty Help with some parts

Post by Butzie Wed May 01, 2013 9:35 pm

Hey guys I need to order some parts for a machine I'm fixing. It's a 1981 Bally Eight Ball Deluxe. I need a lockdown bar and it's not listed in the manual and none of the ones from any of my other machines fit it. None of the parts sites I check show one for it. Any idea how I identify a part # or know what one will fit?

Thanks,

Butzie

TBR has a nice selection. Might want to call Steve up, he'll probably be able to help you. I know most of his lock down bars are listed out of stock but you never know. He might also be able to give you a bit more information on where to find one. The only other option would be to post on some forums like maaca or pinside and see if someone has one kicking around.

That's a hell of a deal. Malibu, if I ever get this one put back together, I would be more than happy to make a deal at that time. I just didn't have the money to do the deal at the time. I did find a bally part number for the lockdown bar, doesn't seem that any of these companies reply to their emails very often though. Another issue I am having is that the score intermittently racks on it's own. It has to be a contact somewhere, but be damned if I can find it. Also I have a manual for the game but I can't find how to set it to free play anywhere in the manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could check with some of the coin ops around your area, you never know...the may have a lockdown bar laying around.

Try tapping on the playfield with the game started and see if anything scores points, might help.

As for free play,I do not think you can set it for free play.My Harlem s set for 40 credits. And the coin chute set for 15 credits for one quarter

Yeah I saw that I can set it for 40 credit max too. I think I'm going to wire the coin return button to the credit wire so I don't have to open it up and get the quarters out.
