Plunger not detecting balls on multi-ball? Easy fix? Empty Plunger not detecting balls on multi-ball? Easy fix?

Hey now pinball gurus! Both my Gotliebs both Freddy and Stargate have this issue. The plunger out-kick does not work 100%, sometimes it detects and kicks out the ball, other times no. This can be a problem on multi-ball scenarios when the balls bunch up!

Is this a matter of cleaning since it works just not consistently? Any suggestions would be great!

more then likely it is just a flaky switch like Malibu-ss says. I'd try adjusting or just replace those switches.

Thanks guys for pointing me in the right direction! I checked the switches on both PINS and they both had gunk on the copper tops. I used a Q-TIP with goo gone on both and a ton of crap came off! Tested it and working 100% on both PINS, it was an easy fix, hey now!
