Looking for backglass trim

Post by spaceship on Sun Oct 11, 2015 11:00 am

I just picked up a Devil's Dare that needs some restoration work. Its pretty much complete but the one odd thing that's missing is the side trim from the backglass. I know some suppliers sell plastic trim, but is there any alternative that I could find locally and not have to shell out $$$ for shipping? I'm thinking there could be something at hardware stores/auto stores that might work, anybody know? Glass suppliers? I dont care too much about the original chrome look, just want to protect the backglass. It does have the lift trim.

I'll look around myself and post my findings, but if you know something that could save me some time please share!  thanks
