ColorDMD: Aargh, Game 36 Be 'Ere!
ColorDMD's is excited to announce Pirates of the Caribbean as our fifth title release for 2016, and to preview the game at the Texas Pinball Festival later this week! POTC is the 36th game to be supported by the ColorDMD pinball display platform. Let the ale flow!
Pirates of the Caribbean is the debut release for Jeff Collins, a programmer and avid pinball enthusiast based in Kansas City. Through POTC, Jeff has been able to blend his hobby and professional talents.
Growing up in the town of Joplin, Missouri, the local arcades were Jeff's favorite childhood hangouts. Pirates was one of the first few pins Jeff acquired about 12 years ago before slipping down the slippery slope of "Surely there's room for just one more in the game room
Jeff resides in Prairie Village, Kansas, with his wife Kathy. His daughter Maddie attends Kansas State University. Max, 16, enjoys Dad's hobby, and has helped Jeff carry and position more the 50+ pinball machines that are currently setup in the basement. (Jeff's slope is very slippery.)
The ColorDMD for Pirates pinball machines leverages the company's easy-to-install ColorDMD SIGMA platform and supports six different rendering styles. Multicolor operation is enabled through free download and installation of a game-specific ROM using a USB drive. The display may be reconfigured for use with any supported title.
