Pinball Exhibition - Downtown Winnipeg
Hello fellow Pinball enthusiasts and collectors!
I am posting this message because I am hoping to organize a large public Pinball exhibition here in Winnipeg. I am currently the Programming and Operations Manager at Forth (check us out online) and our gallery space has recently become available. This space would be perfect to host 30+ pinball machines and I think it could exist as a great hub for games and enthusiasts to come and play for a month or two this winter. Forth is open most days from 7am - 1am and so there would be a great deal of time each day that the machines would be available for play.
This idea is fairly early in it's inception, and I have not worked out all the variables (delivery of machines, compensation agreements, duration, start date, repairs, etc) I am just looking to see if there is any interest from the community in participating with such an exhibition. I am especially on the lookout for anyone that has any machines that would be available to be a part of this exhibition.
The art of Pinball and the sound and energy of the machines would really be fantastic here in our space... and personally I'd love a chance to pump some quarters in over my lunch break .
If you have any interest in this project, please email me at ben(at)forth(dot)ca
Thanks for your time!
