For those Pinheads going to the expo in Chicago...
First of all safe travels on your trip. If you guys get a chance to play Wizard of Oz can you take some photos and let me know your opinion of the game, layout, clear coated cab, rules etc from your POV. I don't believe all the BS PR coming out of the pinball news sites.
As well, if you guys can pick me up the 1st issue of Pinball Magazine, I will pay you when you get back. If you can get Pat Lawlor to sign it I will kick in an extra $20
Have fun guys and say hi to Gary for me when your at his "Up Close with Gary" session. If you get a QA op, please ask him if Stern will ever be creating a Zombie themed PIN in the near future such as "The Walking Dead". That would be kick ass and most likely a monster hit!
Have fun guys!

John Popadiuk and Ben Heck have teamed up to create a zombie themed pin... check it out here: http://www.pinballinventor.org/shazaam.html
For those that don't know Popadiuk has designed many good pins: http://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?ppl=Popadiuk&searchtype=advanced
Ben Heck is a bit of a card. Very creative and goofy guy. He has some sort of hacking web show... he has built a pinball machine from scratch! Check it out here: http://benheck.com/03-16-2010/bill-paxton-pinball

Is this the request line for those heading to Chicago?
Anyone heading to Pinballlife that could bring back a new dmd for me? :)Would save me about $50 and I could pay for it ahead of time.

I could not find the magazine there Paulo. And Pat Lawlor did not go to the autograph session.
As for the Gary Stern session which I did not go to,I was told all he really talked about was the past, and would not talk about the future of what his company is going to be bringing to pinball

It's all good Rick, I placed an order already the other day thru pinballlife. Would've just saved me the shipping and got it quicker.

Thanks for the update Rick, I have ordered the Magazine from the site here -> http://www.pinball-magazine.com/
It was $21.50 including shipping. Its the first issue so I am going to read it, then frame it for my mancave. Hopefully down the road I can get some of the pinball greats to sign it.
