Just finished a complete playfield teardown, clean, polish, wax, re-rubber, and build up on Tales From the Crypt. Included a new VUK and flipper rebuild of the top right flipper. It was surprising how dirty that game was but it plays like a new game now! Very much worth my time. I should have done it ages ago. Those of you thinking about tearing down a game to give it a good clean... DO IT!

One little tip I learned from cleaning it out.... This game had some horrible grime under the inserts. I tried a q-tip but it would have taken me ages to get them all done. One can of compressed air did the trick. I was surprised how a quick blast of air cleaned them out. Now all the inserts look super bright (even without LEDs).

Great tip! I'd still recommend some superbright LEDs in that TFTC though! Wink
