Voles have destroyed my back yard! Again!

Hey now, anybody ever have to deal with pesky little voles? I have had these buggers destroy my backyard for the 3rd straight year this spring. Unfortunately you can only see the damage those fuckers have done after the snow melts. Check these out!

I have installed these thumpers all over the backyard that supposed to scare them off, but apparently it seems to attract more of them!
I am ready to get out the shotgun and start peppering the yard with gunfire! Anyone here ever have to deal with them? if yes, how did you get rid of them?

Hey Now, I guess I am going to dump the thumpers and get a professional in here to cause some vole damage. My hippy neighbors have been using traps but I want to destroy these mofos just like Bill Murray in caddy shack when he blew up that gopher with dynamite!
