Wish me luck! In court today to fight a $406 speeding ticket!

Hey boys, in court today to fight a $406 speeding I got on Leila coming home last Feb 2012. I was behind 2 cars trying to make it home before my Tuna Melt sub got cold and got pinched following these cars that were obviously over the speed limit.

Will let you know how it goes, hopefully I don't get thrown in jail

Got to the court, the cop was there in his Harley Davidson jacket looking all pissed off to have to be wasting his day off in court, I waited until 9:55am and walked up to the dude in funny dress that I wanted to plead guilty with explanation. They said cool, made me sign a document and I went to see another judge. Told him I probably was speeding but not for more than 3 seconds. He said, okey dokey, thanks for not wasting the courts time, I am reducing your fine to $280, have a good day! Hey now!

How many am I looking at for going 78 in a 50? Right now I am at max discount!

Don't feel bad for the cop. He got 4 hours at overtime rate to show up on his day off. They LOVE it.

MPI has a calulator on their website - 78 in a 50 would be -2 (unless it was a constuction / school zone)

Congrats on getting your ticket reduced - you should of said you had fast food, blamed subway and sued (it for sure would work in the US)

PS I like the speeding menu you get when you enter Ontario - you can drive accoring to your current cash situation
