Modification for Gottlieb System 1

I'd like to modify my Joker Poker so that the knocker coil fires when an extra ball is earned. My guess is that if I wired the "shoot again" light to the knocker, with something to make it just get a pulse, it should work.

Has anyone tried this? Would I have to isolate the circuit so if it did get activated, the pulse wouldn't travel back to the board and fry something?

If someone has tried this with any success, or has an idea how to do this, let me know. I've heard a System 80 pop bumper might do the trick, but I wouldn't have a clue how to wire it.

Does that light flicker on and off with all the other bulbs when the game is not in use? If it does, it might get a little real fast.

It stays on, which isn't a good thing. I've been told a System 80 pop bumper driver would work, if wired to that light circuit. Again, I have no clue how it would be done. I think it would be a great mod, though.
