Greeting from Argentina - Visiting Winnipeg very soon
Hello Pinball lovers, my name is Alex Zaidel from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Pinball and crazy scuba diving fan as well. Had some of pins at home (about 15). Now keeping 4 at home and 4 more waiting to be restored.
A couple of questions.... I am about to make an exploratory trip to Winnipeg in the next months.... really considering on immigrating there. Any local places to meet people pinball related?
Do you think I should bring the pins with me once moving there? Is is easy to buy pins in Canada and have them shipped to Winnipeg? How about buying them from the US?
Guess I will need to investigate if shipping pins from here is a valid option. LOTS of pins in Argentina from 80s and 90s. Not too many games from 2000 and beyond.
Please keep in touch. I will be there early May, would love to meet some of you if possible.
Thanks,
Alex.

Welcome to the forum Alex!
There are a few places with machines, but not as many as there used to.
If you are moving here and it is cost effective you could bring your machines with you.
There is not a lot of machines available in Winnipeg for sale.
Buying machines with in Canada is not to bad, shipping is usually fair price wise
Buying for the US gets more costly with shipping, and our dollar is worth 0.25 less than the US dollar
