Crowdfunding for pinball tournament at Keycon?

Hi guys.

I've been thinking about the pinball tournament at Keycon but due to my employment situation, I may not be able to spare enough dough to do a full-fledged tournament.

My only other alternative is to try crowdfunding. The money would be raised to pay for prizes and machine rentals at Keycon but I'm not sure if I want to go through with it.

Opinions?

I don't have anything to add regarding the funding situation but I do recommend that others do what I did and check out the Keycon guest "Toastmistress". Almost makes me want to attend.

Yeah, she is very very popular in the Winnipeg fandom community. She's been a frequent guest at the con for several years. Heck, she even brought Ed the Sock to one convention.

To kick off your campaign, maybe arrange for dinner with Liana at the $500 donation level.

For tax reasons, I would rather keep it as a donation only campaign. Plus, I doubt that Liana would agree to this.

Okay guys, a heads up. Due to lack of interest and the fact that the campaign has not received a single dime in donations, I decided to kill it off. The pinball machines will be around for general amusement instead at Keycon.
