Jurassic Park in Future Pinball with Track IR...

Hey now, here is a short video I did today using FRAPs to record myself playing Jurassic Park in Future Pinball (a free 3D pinball simulator). I use an additional piece of tech that Future Pinball supports called Track IR. This tech attaches to your headset and tracks your head movements to give you full immersion in the games you are playing. I tried to give a sense how it works in FP, normally I don't move my head that much! I mostly use Track IR in flight and racing sims.

Future Pinball has some great recreations of A Titles such as IJ 93, TAF, TZ etc. They for the most part, look and play awesome. In all I have about 120+ tables and best of all its free! Check out and download the tables here:

Ok I have to admit, playing the real JP is an experience that cannot be duplicated digitally. That shaker motor is powerful and you litterally hold on for dear life as you think the PIN is going to move! This PIN is tons of fun and the movie sound bites add to the enjoyment. 8/10 from me!

I've played around with Future Pinball before but mainly to design my own table. Great platform for experimenting with different shots. Really easy to write code as well.

Track IR looks pretty cool but it must take a bit of getting used to.. you move your head but your eyes must stay on the screen.

I've played a bit of JP.. I have to agree it's pretty fun! Definitely on my want list.
