Forum page long load time

Dunno if it's just me but does the forum sometimes take a long while to load a page? Seems to be related to the advertisement displayed at the top of the page under the menu. Could be something with my proxy I suppose so I thought I'd check with you guys to see if I'm the only one experiencing this. It doesn't happen most of the time but it's enough to be annoying.

I've fixed this by installing the AdBlock plugin for chrome... much better

And when I say much better I mean... MUCH BETTER! Forum is 100% faster for me now.

I'm using adblock plus as well, probably why I haven't noticed the load time haha
